More Vintage Finds...

Life has been a little busy at Jodé Designs this week..

But despite the lack of sleep we are excited to show you some more Vintage Finds!!

This has to be the best Vintage Find yet, and I can't take all credit as it was my 1950's husband who spotted it.. We ummed and arrred about whether or not to keep this awesome Egg Ball chair for our own home.. Problem is we have no room!!.. So we reluctantly have had to pass it on to another home..

It is in fantastic condition.. White fibreglass on outside with bright red felt inner lining.. Measurements are 120cm height x 100cm width x 70cm depth.. Enjoy..

This next Vintage Find is a great 'home decoration' piece.. These two retro soda syphon bottles would be a great talking piece in any lounge/dining/kitchen room.. They stand 35cm in height and are made out of glass with metal mesh.. Enjoy..

A week of restoring...

It has just dawned on me that I our next 'little bundle of joy' will be arriving in 4 months time (for some reason I kept thinking 6 months) which doesn't give me much time to restore the container of furniture I have.. So the team at Jode Designs has had a busy week of sanding, painting and sewing to get on top of things!!..

Our first piece is a lovely restored wooden high chair... It stands 100cm in height x 35cm in width x 35cm in depth...  The 'cute feet' deco certainly give it its uniqueness... It is painted a grey which is great for a boy or girl... It comes with a cushion base which ties around the back for comfort and easily removable to wash... A perfect chair to have at the dining table for a family dinner... The is a very sturdy high chair and very easy to clean... Enjoy...

The second piece to a gorgeous restored wooden baby's bassinette... It stands 91cm in height x 97cm in length x 50cm in width... It is painted off-white with a slight shabby chic look.. Comes complete with a newly covered foam mattress... Definitely a unique find and perfect pieve for any nursery... Enjoy...

This third piece is a restored wooden change table which comes complete with co-ordinating change mat and accessory basket... It is 99cm in height x 92cm in width x 49cm in depth... It is painted a dark beige colour which matches in with any colour scheme for boy or girl..

A necessity and a stylish piece for any baby's nursery.. Enjoy..

Vintage Finds...

Everyone at Jodé Designs are very excited to introduce its first Vintage Finds!!

 

We couldn't go past this first Vintage Find.. Every office space needs a retro chair and this one is comfortable as well as fashionable.. Unfortunately to those who have fallen in love with it as much as we have, it has already sold.. But we thought we would share it anyway.. Enjoy..

 

This second Vintage Find takes me back to the days in my nan and pop's living room.. They had a TV cabinet exactly like this.. It is also sold, but is a nice reminder of the yester-years.. Enjoy..

This third Vintage Find comes complete with the original 'floral' lined drawers and patterned laminex top.. It would be perfect for a office, craft room or a make-up dresser.. Measurements are 120cmx57cmx75cm.. and we just love the original skinny wooden legs with metal caps.. Enjoy..

This fourth Vintage Find has a gorgeous scalloped edged mirror (and it is quite large), original handles and a nice patterened laminex.. It is in great condition for the age of it and would be perfect in any bedroom, walk-in-robe or bathroom.. Measurements are 135cmx40cmx168cm.. Enjoy..

A New Year...

Jodé Designs would like to wish you all a Happy New Year, even though we are already half way through February!! What a year it will be for us... With another little bundle on the way we are frantically trying to restore as much furniture as we can before it arrives early July..

 

After a nice and relaxing (yet adventures) holiday in Canada, Jodé Designs has also decided to expand its range to 'Vintage Finds' as well has restored baby's furniture... With a husband who should of been born in the 1950's and a love of vintage shopping we both enjoy, we thought this would be a nice touch to a new year...

 

We have a few pieces in stock and in the process of restoration already so watch this space!!
